Time.
What an interesting concept.
We created a unit of measure to count the days as they pass. Then we eventually use it to set a schedule in the future, so we know what “we have to do and when”. Now, it seems to be a driving force.
Of course for the sake of society, time is useful. Some people need a push to drive them. It helps us all to have a standard to follow so that schedules can be made and we can get where we want to go/others need us to be. Essentially it’s very useful for Travel and Business and making sure we meet when we say we do.
“I’m too busy”, “I have no time”, the one I heard from parents frequently “WE have GOT TO hurry, or else WE WILL BE LATE!” These may or may not be typical of phrases others have heard or said.
I once heard that time and being on time can be a type of fetish. Who can show up the earliest and be done first, can become a game.
But does it all matter? What if you do miss everything? What if you do miss your appointments? What if you don’t care what time it is. What if you don’t have any appointments or don’t care if you do miss them?

Some people are in just of a hurry to leave a party as get their on time. Watching the clock tick becomes the experience, instead of what ever we are doing.
If you can tame time, as just a unit of measure and not a unit of YOUR measure. You can start to own it, and you will have all the time you need on this planet to do everything you always wanted to do. You can learn to enjoy what’s happening rather than when it’s all over or when you have to get there. And aren’t the experiences what life is all about, not how much time you spent doing it?
E’s words for the day: Ignoring time can be difficult, but if you can control it rather than let it control you, it will makes your life experiences timeless.
