I look forward to the weekend. As we all should. One of my favorite Saturday morning activities in the summer is sitting on my porch and soaking up those morning rays.

Today is not one of those days.

No sun. Clouds.

Does this ruin my day completely?

Haha, of course not.

We live in a universe where our needs our constantly being fulfilled and our wants are left up to us.

Looking around outside, I see hundreds of animals and insects, thousands of trees, and millions of blades of grass. They sit in the sun all day and they need water to survive.

The clouds are to give them some shade from the constant summer sun and heat. And the rain that comes with the clouds quench their constant thirst.

I must accept that in order to have the birds and the bees and the flowers and the trees, we must take the cloudy rainy days with the sun bright ones.

That’s what keeps it all working.
